For the past 10 years, Donna West has served as a Child Nutrition Manager at Brownwood Elementary School in Scottsboro City Schools in Scottsboro, Alabama. Brownwood Elementary consists of approximately 350 students and 40 staff members. As a proud “Leader in Me” school, they are on a journey to become a recognized Lighthouse school.

When Donna is not at school she is passionate about eating “clean” and is beginning the journey of learning more about processed foods and their impact on the health and wellness of children.

Donna has been married for 35 years and has two grown sons. She also loves to travel, read and enjoys the occassional retail therapy.
