Emily Mantooth is a mother of two children in 4th and 2nd grades, a runner, and an active member of Harry C. Withers Elementary School PTA. Surrounded by private schools in a middle class Dallas, Texas neighborhood, Withers Elementary is a public school for Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. There are over 400 students, and more than 70% of them qualify for free or reduced lunch programs.
