Rob Bisceglie was appointed CEO of Action for Healthy Kids in January 2008, bringing fifteen years of diverse non-profit experience in management, operations, development, and strategic and operational planning. Prior to joining Action for Healthy Kids, Rob worked for non-profit, governmental and community organizations in both Chicago and Washington, DC. While living in Washington, DC, for several years, Rob directed the operations of international development programs for the U.S. Agency for International Development in more than 40 developing countries worldwide. In the Chicago area, before joining Action for Healthy Kids, Rob worked as director of planning and development for the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago.
Rob has a master’s degree in foreign affairs with a concentration in human rights foreign policy from the University of Virginia and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Illinois.
He is the father of three young children who fuel his desire to work to improve the lives of all children.
