Édeanna M. Chebbi

Program Coordinator, Hygiene and Disease Prevention

Édeanna researches important health topics about disease prevention, such as H1N1 and childhood vaccinations, and develops materials and information for NEA members to support their health and that of their students. By helping weed out confusing technical information, she is able to provide members with the facts relevant to the school community. She says the best part of her work is that she is always learning something new.

Before coming to NEA HIN in 2008, Édeanna participated in the youth development program for the United States Peace Corps in Micronesia. She also worked as a legal assistant at the Georgetown University Law Center, and as executive assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University.

Edeanna has a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Law, Economics and Government from American University, and a master’s in International Relations from St. John’s University, Rome Campus.

To stay healthy, Édeanna takes a multivitamin every day.
