Jenn Kauffman

Public Relations and Digital Program Manager

Prior to joining NEA HIN, Jenn Kauffman worked at the AFL-CIO, where she managed the organization’s Field Communications team and later working on the labor movement’s campaign for common-sense immigration policy. Jenn has also worked on strategic communications for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).  

Before joining the labor movement, she worked for a host of political and civic organizations and campaigns, getting her start as Deputy Director of Internet Operations for the Gore presidential campaign.

Jenn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. 

Jenn will be splitting her time supporting Bag the Junk, our Robert Wood Johnson Foundation funded project on competitive foods in schools, Breakfast in the Classroom as well as supporting NEA HIN-wide communications projects.
