Hi everyone. I hope you’vehad a chance to reflect on and recover from all of your new year’scelebrations. In December, I wrote a blog on my visit toReading, PA’s Southern Middle School. I told you that I, along with NEA Vice PresidentLily Eskelsen, visited the school. It was an eye opening and emotional trip but that’s not the whole story. What I left out was that we were also accompanied by Dr. SanjayGupta.
This weekend, I encourage you to tune into – or set your DVR’s to record – “CNN Presents.” This special segment will highlight indoor air quality in schools and its impact on student learning and health. The program is scheduled to air on January 14 and 15 at 8 p.m., 11 p.m., and 2 a.m ET.
