About Us

Welcome to bNetS@vvy!  We are happy to celebrate our new website.  You, our wonderful visitors, have told us that you trust and enjoy our content, and find it useful in your work and at home.  We’re making some changes and hope to make it even better! For those who may not be familiar with us, we are an online based program with resources, tools and insights that can be used to promote safe and smart Internet behaviors.  The goal of the program is to help tweens, parents, guardians, educators and other adults better understand the risks and benefits associated with Internet use.  We hope to be a trusted one-stop shop for information, tools and links to high-quality resources that can help young teens stay safe online! bNetS@vvy offers useful tools exploring the issues that confront families and educators.  These may include cyberbullying, sexting, consumer privacy, and social networking sites like MySpace, Facebook and Twitter. Sign up for bi-monthly e-newsletters and stay abreast of the latest Internet safety topics. We want to hear from you. If you have a story to share, visit our “Share Your Story” section on our homepage.  For questions, curriculum ideas and other inquiries, please contact Jamila Boddie, bNetS@vvy Editor, at [email protected]. Happy, savvy connecting!
