Gaming
Gaming still seems to be high on the list of activities that tweens are interested in. Hand held games (Nintendo DS), online games (online poker) and mobile apps (Angry Birds) are various forms of gaming.
Guardians should keep in mind not all games are appropriate for all ages and some games can be highly addictive for some tweens. However, gaming can be a great way to interact with peers or an innovative method of teaching.
