The National Education Association, the NEA Health Information Network, and the American Cleaning Institute congratulate the 2011 C.L.E.A.N.® Award recipients. Awards were presented at the national NEA Education Support Professional Conference in Washington, DC on March 13, 2011.
“The C.L.E.A.N. Award continues to place a spot light on the
importance
of cleaning for health first and appearance second. Custodial
professionals need to continue to lead the cleaning for health movement.
Acknowledging cleaning as an environmental health benefit is the first
step. We need to be good stewards of the environment by advocating for
the most effective cleaning products and equipment for our schools, for
our fellow colleagues, and most importantly for our students.”Barry
