Updating your plan

  Thoroughly review your current plan to assess what’s working well, what needs to be improved and what has changed since the plan was first created. Assess changes in:

• School facilities and grounds
• Availability of evacuation sites and routes
• Emergency phone numbers and resources
• Special staff skills
• Bell and bus schedules
• Special needs of students
• Lessons learned from crisis response
• Community hazards and risks
