USGBC’s Green Apple Day of Service

The goal of USGBC’s Green Apple movement is to give all children access to schools where they have clean and healthy air to breathe, where energy and resources are conserved, and where they can be inspired to learn and dream of a brighter future. This past year’s event gained national media coverage and featured more than 1,200 projects in 50 states and 49 countries.

Communities from across the world come together to improve K-12 and higher education facilities through simple service projects that have a direct impact on the health and performance of the school facility. This experience helps increase community awareness of sustainable learning environments by having groups join the Green Apple Day of Service project.
