The NEA Health Information Network (NEA HIN) is offering grants to support teams of 3-4 NEA members and staff to take the new online professional development course What’s Your IEQ? A Roadmap to School Indoor Environmental Quality.
Competitive grants of up to $75/person for approximately 89 teams will be made available in two cycles. It will take an estimated 26-31 hours to meet the obligations of the grant program. Each grant cycle provides atime frame of at least three months to meet the requirements.

Grant Program Requirements
Teams must:
- Commit to completing the online course
- Conduct work sessions to complete the grant program work
- Complete one extra-credit project
- Submit course documentation
Grant Program Incentives
- Professional development credit – participants can earn a total of 5.56 certificate hours and between 15-20 additional certificate hours at no cost
- Reimbursement for approved expenses up to $75/person (for teams of 3-4 NEA members/staff)
- Opportunity to increase knowledge of indoor environmental quality (IEQ) in schools and improve the working and learning environments of students and staff
- Chance to enhance team building skills and organizing efforts as team members complete the grant program work together in group work sessions
