Resources for Cancer Survivors

NEA
Cancer Survivors and Supporters Caucus (CSSC)

The NEA-CSSC arose out of a need to educate NEA members
on the importance of cancer prevention and early detection.
To accomplish this, NEA HIN and a dedicated group of
NEA cancer survivors established the NEA-CSSC in 2001,
not only survivors of all forms of cancer, but also
supporters…those individuals who support or have
lost a friend or loved one with cancer. With 141 founding
members in its first two days of existence, the NEA-CSSC
aims to teach NEA members that early detection is the
best protection.

Membership

The
NEA-CSSC accepts memberships each year prior during
the NEA Representative Assembly exhibits. If
you are unable to attend the Representative Assembly,
the Caucus membership

is now available online! Dues are $10
for an active membership and $5 for associate,
student, and retired members. Membership
dues help support educational and caucus materials
