NATIONAL C.L.E.A.N.® AWARD!
National C.L.E.A.N.® Award
Custodial Leaders for Environmental Advocacy Nationwide
Custodians are now invited to participate in the inaugural National C.L.E.A.N.® Awards Program—recognizing the contributions that custodians make to public health in their schools, communities, and their profession. The 2009 award will be presented to a school custodian that demonstrates outstanding leadership to school cleanliness, and reflects the contributions that education support professionals (ESP) can make to public health. The award program is a joint initiative of the National Education Association (NEA), the NEA Health Information Network (NEA HIN), the Soap and Detergent Association (SDA), and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Attention Parents, Teachers, Bus Drivers, Food Service Workers,
Principals, and other school staff! Please encourage and assist your outstanding custodian in applying for the 2009 C.L.E.A.N Award! Since many of our wonderful custodians don’t want to “toot their own horns” we ask that you get involved if needed and help in any way you can. You can even participate by writing a letter of recommendation! |
