SPOTLIGHT:
THE ENVIRONMENTAL
LAW INSTITUTE
|
For nearly three decades, the Environmental Law Institute (ELI)
has played a pivotal role in shaping the fields of environmental
law, policy, and management Û domestically and abroad. Today, ELI
is an internationally recognized, independent research and education
center. The ELI encourages environmental professionals in government,
industry, the private bar, public interest groups, and academia
to work cooperatively in developing effective solutions to pressing
environmental problems.
The ELI has been working in partnership with the US EPA’s Indoor
Environments Division to collect laws, regulations, and other policy
documents relating to radon and indoor air quality issues. The Radon
Law and Policy Database and the Indoor Air Quality Law and Policy
Database include state laws, state regulations, municipal ordinances,
litigation, reports, and guidance documents relating to radon and
IAQ issues.
