A Living Memorial (n16)

Objective
To
remember the 4000 lives lost on September 11 in
a cross-country walk in which a flag is carried
for each fatality, ending in New York City on
the anniversary of the first year anniversary
of the tragedy.
Though
this specific journey will have been completed
on Sept. 11, 2002, it provides a great example
for similar activities that could be done on a
community or school-based level.
