Jon Falk

Senior Program/Policy Specialist, NEA

Jon Falk is a Senior Program/Policy Specialist in NEA’s Education Support Professionals Quality Department. His responsibilities include working with NEA’s state and local affiliates to build support for NEA’s half-million education support professional members, and help them advocate for public education provided by public employees. He also leads ESPQ’s efforts in many areas of Federal policy that affect support educators, including school nutrition and the Health, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

In addition to his many years of working with the National Education Association and the Maine Education Association, Jon has been a labor and community organizer, a labor and adult educator, a logger and a forester. He earned a Bachelors degree in economics from Harvard College and a Masters of Forest Science from Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
