Profile
Mobile, AL began
in September 2000. Mobile is in the Southwestern corner of a rural
state, on the Gulf of Mexico. Can We Talk? is also running in Birmingham
and eastern Alabama.

Success Stories
We had almost
100% attendance at the elementary location since we were unable
to provide complete workbooks the first night we provided them in
subsequent sessions. The parents had to return to each session to
get that material. It kept them coming back!
Evaluation
Progress
There is need
to continue to promote this program with other locations and increase
visibility. One area we are working on is collaboration with the
local county-wide PTA/PTO organization and the Mobile Education
Foundation as well as the Junior League of Mobile.
